Commercial questions

Before you ask procurement.

What exactly counts as one share?
One document set released to one recipient. A twelve-page mortgage pack sent to a single customer is one share, whether they open it once or twenty times. Sending the same pack to two customers is two shares.
Do recipients ever pay, or need a licence?
No. Recipients never pay, never register and never install anything. The cost sits entirely with the sending organisation.
Is there a trial?
Thirty days on the Team tier with 250 shares, on a shared subdomain, with no purchase order required. Production data is permitted during the trial; the same certified environment is used.
What happens if we leave?
You receive a bulk export of ciphertext, manifests and the full signed audit chain in open formats, plus the wrapped keys re-wrapped under a key you nominate. Active shares continue to function for their remaining validity. The exit plan is contractual, not discretionary.
Can we host it ourselves?
A single-tenant deployment inside your own Dutch data centre is available on Enterprise. The application is ours to update; the keys, the HSM and the ciphertext never leave your premises.
